Castle Shannon Community Day 2026

Castle Shannon Community Day will take place on May 30, 2026, at Hamilton Park, bringing families, neighbors, and local businesses together for a full day of fun and community spirit. Designed to celebrate Castle Shannon, the event invites residents of all ages to enjoy free, family‑friendly entertainment while discovering and supporting local businesses.

The day will be filled with activities for kids and adults alike, including live music, bouncy houses, a caricature artist, magician, balloon artist, and a lineup of food trucks offering delicious bites, sweet treats, and refreshing beverages — including beer for adult guests. Local businesses will have the opportunity to promote their services and connect with residents in a warm, welcoming environment.

As the sun sets, the celebration will conclude with a spectacular laser light show, offering a vibrant, memorable finale for families across the Borough.

Castle Shannon Community Day aims to foster stronger community connections and create a joyful experience that brings neighbors together year after year.

Fall Stream Cleanup

Join CSRC and Watersheds of South Pittsburgh in Castle Shannon for a stream clean-up to make a difference in Saw Mill Run.

We will meet in the James Street parking lot. Arrive early for coffee and donuts, then grab some supplies and spend a few hours with us in the stream.

We will have waders to borrow, but you can always stay on dry land.
